Why Yoga in Pyjamas?

Yoga in Pyjamas is my reality on a daily basis. No expensive leggins (which I highly dislike!), no frills, no performance. It is also a playful image that cracks a smile on faces, and that captures what I believe this practice to be: real, messy, unglamorous, but always present and always necessary. Sometimes I compare it to brushing your teeth first thing in the morning: mundane, essential, and with long-lasting benefits.
Plus, I just love how fresh you feel after it!

As a teacher, I am committed to create a soft, caring space free of judgment — where comfy clothes and questionable hairdos are just as beautiful as anything else. Where how the body (which includes the mind!) feels is the priority above all.
I hope we can remind ourselves that yoga isn’t about appearance, or trends, but an ancient and wise practice that helps us get quiet. And perhaps, it brings us a little closer to answering the most important question: “Who am I?”

Welcome!

What Students Say

  • I was so thrilled to be able to attend classes with Laura whilst in India in 2023. Her style of teaching is precise, creative and very well thought out. You can tell she is passionate about teaching and her depth of knowledge is quite something. Her creative flair is ever present in her classes and I‘ve often felt as if I was dancing on my mat during Vinyasa. Her Hatha classes were nice and challenging, with a lot of very brilliant alignment cues. You can tell Laura has a very good anatomical background and I loved it. I cannot recommend Laura highly enough and am looking forward to the day when I am able to be lead by her in a class again.

  • Laura's vinyasa flow classes are incredibly creative. It's clear that she's put a tonne of thought into designing classes that move from simple to complex, fit a story/theme, and help you move deeper into your practice. Her teaching style and vibrant personality keep you smiling throughout, even while making you sweat! She's an all- around incredible human being who genuinely cares. If you're lucky enough to meet Laura and/or take her classes don't miss your opportunity!

  • I am also a vinyasa flow teacher from Germany and as I had the luck to join one of Laura’s drop in classes in Agonda, Goa this year, I had to followed her on Instagram and was lucky, to find out that she was going to host a retreat in Tuscany this year together with Lucy. I had to sign up right away, as I knew, the yoga would be incredible for sure. And, I did not regret it. I had such a nice time and both of their loving way of teaching, the room and inspiration to reflect, with beautiful quotes and the whole thought-through concept, made the week an amazing experience of connection. Thank you Laura and Lucy 🙏❤️
